Sustainability Tips

We believe fashion should be fun, but we take sustainability seriously. If you do too, there are simple ways you can help your favorite styles last longer and reduce your environmental impact.

Wear More, Wash Less

Denim is famous for its ability to be worn multiple times before requiring a wash, but other clothes can easily follow suit. If they’re not dirty, skip the wash and opt for steaming, ironing, or a quick spritz of water to help reset their shape. It’ll save on water and electricity while keeping your favorite pieces looking their best.

Wash on Cold and Line Dry

If something really needs to be laundered, use cold water instead of warm or hot, then hang it to dry or use your dryer on a low or medium heat setting. It will help reduce your carbon footprint and reduce your energy bill.

Filter Microfibers

Place synthetic fibers (like polyester and fleece) in a filter bag to minimize microfibers from entering the wash cycle and ending up in our waterways.

Reduce Reliance on Bleach and Fabric Softener

Because both agents can cause yellowing to your whites and break down fabric fibers over time, consider skipping them altogether. To restore softness to your clothing and linens, try eco-friendly wool dryer balls.
